Oasis Technology
Oasis Technology introduces Titan, a front-end security device that detects, classifies and proactively stops malicious traffic and threats before they reach a firewall/network. Titan’s patented architecture allows it to sit in front of the firewall in stealth mode, observe traffic, and act on the bad traffic that is traversing the bridge. Titan behaves like a pipe with invisible technology that is monitoring and filtering all packets as they pass through. Additionally, Titan performs deep packet inspection on packets as they pass through without limiting your network’s performance. Advanced technology controls and limits the effects of DDOS attacks as well.
Advanced System Design
ASD’s Door Control System requirements were Locking and Unlocking of large bronze and glass doors that utilized a motorized three-point locking system. Standard Access Control inputs card readers and keypads allowed for normal entry and exit. The system can function fully isolated and provide its own standby power for operation during power loss. Included are redundant power supplies, redundant batteries, internal monitoring, alarming functions and operator touch screen. All major components are network connected with both on and offsite monitoring and control capabilities. This feature allows for Property Managers to remotely view system status and override functions if necessary.
Protection 1
Protection 1 introduces eSuite 2.0, its next generation account management tool with new key features and mobile device capability. eSuite allows customers to view and edit data including contact, PIN # and panel code information, open/close schedules, alarm system tests, and site activity. New features include new graphical interface, new activity dashboards viewed through summary activity maps or trending graphs that include police or fire dispatches, open/close exception, communication failure and failed test timers. BitFlow Inc. introduced their new Cyton CXP4 CoaXPress. The internal fingerprint sensor is based on full-field optical coherence tomography, which gathers 3D data and requires high-tech lasers. It works by analyzing the interference patterns created when a beam of light comes from a predetermined depth. Images of an internal fingerprint can be captured in under a second, which is adequate for live fingerprint imaging applications.

Zwipe
Zwipe today announced the release of Zwipe ID©, a card with fingerprint authentication capabilities targeted for the global Access Control market. Designed to work within regular MIFARE DESFire and MIFARE Classic Access Control systems provided by integrators around the world, the fully self-contained fingerprint system is used to identify the legitimate card owner. Zwipe ID© includes an integrated biometric sensor and utilizes Zwipe’s patent pending biometric authentication technology to allow capture of the users fingerprint and to securely maintain the cardholder’s data on the device. The ability to harvest energy from already installed Access Control readers not only eliminates the need for a battery, but also avoids costly reader replacement.
